POST-ESCAPADE HOPS Tombstone Western Heritage HOP March 24, 2023, Tucson, Arizona After a busy week at Escapade, enjoy a relaxing HOP or two! Let us do the driving while you sit back, relax and have fun! Board a luxury coach with a local, fun and knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoy scenic views of the beautiful countryside of mountains, mesas and deserts, while learning about the rich western heritage of Tucson, Tombstone and the surrounding area on the Tombstone Western Heritage HOP. Tombstone, once a booming mining town, is one of the last frontier towns. Images of gun fi ghts, miners, saloons, ladies of the night, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and the famous shoot-out at the O.K. Corral are the fi rst thoughts in your mind when you hear Tombstone. Visit the historical Western graveyard, Boothill, where several legendary folks are buried and hear Vincent Price narrate an exciting multimedia history of Tombstone from Geronimo’s Apaches to modern times in Tombstone’s Historama. See a rendition of the famous “shoot-out” at the O.K. Corral and visit the museum, cowboy bunkhouse, hearse, prostitute’s crib, buggies, saddles, fi re equipment, blacksmith shop and stables from the 1880s. Visit the of fi ce of the Epitaph, begun in 1880, it is the oldest continuously run newspaper in Arizona. Visit C.S. Fly’s photographic studio, gallery and boarding house. Included is admission into the Rose Tree Museum, home of the World’s Largest Rose Tree, and learning about one of Tombstone’s oldest original families. Free time for shopping and learning the history of the Saguaro Cactus before stop ping for pictures. Guns and Ammo HOP March 24, 2023, Tucson, Arizona Let’s get together for a fun, friendly shooting competition! This HOP will give you the opportunity to participate in safe gun-handling skills in a competitive, yet friendly, environment. There will be two classes of competitions, revolver and semi-auto, and you may choose one or both classes. A prize will be presented to the best shooter in each of these two competitions. Please provide your own ammo, revolver and/or semi-auto, plus eye and ear protection. Please, no fi rst-time shooters. You must already know how to shoot and operate a weapon safely.
