A Word from Our Group Director By WENDY STANWOOD #170314, Chapter/BoF Director

I n the last few months, we have established a new BoF, called NudeScapes. It is growing fast. Art and Michelle Aughey #166355 have put much effort into this group, and many members have joined. Check out their website under Community. If anyone would like to start a new BoF or Chapter, please let me know and we will get you started. I want to shout out a big thank you to the Escapees members and staff for the welcoming encouragement and guidance that everyone has shown. I feel like I have been here forever and look forward to the future. Author Nweke Pascal said it best, “We Travel Not To Escape Life, But For Life Not To Escape Us!”

January was fi lled with a lot of activity, start ing with the largest attendance, thus far, at the Party on Plomosa. We enjoyed music, catching up with friends, eating a lot of hot dogs, visiting a few rigs on display and learn ing about our chapters, BoFs and SKP Co Ops, as our members visited the tables they had set up. Positive feedback came from members who were amazed to learn what these regional and special-interest groups do. Also, the band that entertained us, the Status Crowes, never disappoint.
