HAND, ROY KENNETH #102821–OCTOBER 30, 2022: (LouAnn, 45323 Park Sierra Dr. #508, Coarsegold, CA 93614) Roy died peacefully after four weeks of complications in his heart, lungs and kidneys. Roy chose to stop all treatments. He did not want to travel the road ahead; he said, “We can’t live forever. It is time for me to go see Jesus.” The Lord was gracious and took him quickly. We were married for 64 years and were partners in life where we worked and played together. We have been members of SKP Co-Op Park of the Sierra in Coarsegold, California, for 12 years, where Roy worked in maintenance. We also hosted in Indian Waters Park, in Indio and Pismo Creek RV Resort, in Pismo Beach. I will continue to live and work at SKP Co-Op Park of the Sierra as long as I can. HILL, J. LAWRENCE (LARRY) #4226–OCTOBER 16, 2022 : (Gayle Longwell 38 Private Road 5246, Hondo, TX 78861) Larry, age 91, died from an unexpected and sudden illness, but not before all of his immediate family gathered with him one last time. They were original members of Lone Star Corral and he was past president of the Board of Directors and served the co-op on many committees. Larry enjoyed working at Escapade in his “younger” years. In 2017, Larry and Gayle found companionship at the co-op and began to share the RVing and traveling lifestyle together, as well as all the co-op had to offer. Larry’s RV travels took him to all 50 states and throughout Mexico and Canada. (Reported by son, Michael Hill #62839.)
