community of like-minded individuals who share their values, passions and lifestyle choices. The term “tribe” in this context encapsulates the idea of fi nding a group of people who understand and resonate with one another on a fundamental level. Within this tribe, individuals discover travel companions and kindred spirits who understand the unique challenges and joys of the nomadic lifestyle. The supportive environment offers a sense of belonging, empowering members to pursue their dreams, conquer obstacles and savor the beauty of shared experiences. In recent years, it has become a lighthearted running joke within the Xscapers to occasionally point out, with a wink and a smile, that we are de fi nitely not a cult. It’s a humorous way for members to acknowledge the miscon ceptions that can arise when people hear terms like “ fi nding your tribe” or experience the passion with which some members talk about the community. However, you can rest assured we don’t engage in any mysterious rituals, sacri fi ce RV tires to the travel gods, or insist on members wearing matching tin-foil hats (unless it’s a particularly festive occasion). I can’t promise you won’t be asked to “drink the Kool-Aid,” but don’t worry, it is likely just vodka. As the road stretches out before them, Xscapers know they are not alone. Instead, they are part of a tribe, a collective of wanderers who have chosen to explore the world together, leaving footprints of compassion and a legacy of friendship in their wake.

Beyond personal connections, Xscapers also embodies a spirit of giving back. Members understand the importance of supporting the communities they encounter along their way. Through various initiatives and volunteer efforts, Xscapers strive to leave a positive impact wherever they go. Whether organizing local clean-up projects, fundraising for charitable causes, or assisting other members in need, Xscapers has become a force for good. Their collective efforts showcase the power of community, illustrating that even in a transient lifestyle, it is possible to make a lasting difference. For many Xscapers (myself included), the club was the missing piece that transformed their RV adventures into a ful fi lling and complete experience. I’ve heard countless members re fl ect on the profound impact that joining Xscapers has had on their lives. If you spend enough time with this group, you will likely hear at least one of them describe their introduction to this club as “ fi nding their tribe.” When Xscapers members refer to “ fi nding their tribe,” they express a deep sense of belonging and connection beyond ordinary friendships.
