ing led by a local astronomy professor, a private drive-in movie night and the inaugural Xscapers 5k Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, made this Friendsgiving unforgettable. The week concluded with a onesie dance party, a conver gence fi rst, where grown adults donned full-body paja ma-style onesies and danced the night away to the beats of a local DJ. It was a fi tting conclusion to a memorable week of camaraderie and adventure. In late December, Xscapers adhered to tradition, welcoming the new year at the annual New Year’s Eve meetup in Quartzsite, Arizona. This free event, open to all members of the Escapees RV Club, featured group potlucks, live music, massive bon fi res and a live DJ who kept the crowd dancing well into the new year. As we step into 2024, Xscapers Convergences promise even more excitement. New locations are on the horizon, and plans are underway for thrilling activities throughout the year. January signi fi es the Annual Bash for Xscapers, an event that will already be in full swing by the time this magazine reaches your mailbox. Nearly 500 attendees are in for an incredible week, and the next issue will provide all the exhilarating details of this one-of-a-kind RV event!

In February, some Xscapers will venture down to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, for the sold-out Mexico Winter Home Base event. Others will join event host, Rebecca Jane #158177 at the Xscapers Pyro Party for the Western Pyrotechnics Association’s annual fi reworks expo and display. Come April, Xscapers, along with the entire Escap ees RV Club, will head to Texas for a unique occa sion—the Great North American Total Solar Eclipse. The Paris Red River Fairgrounds will host a week-long gathering with live entertainment, group meals, arts and crafts, organized games and more. The pinnacle of the event will undoubtedly be the total solar eclipse, with over four minutes of totality in the skies above Paris, Texas. Tickets for the Escapees Solar Eclipse Event are on sale now but act quickly—they’re selling fast!
