even a day cruise on Prince William Sound where you might see wildlife such as humpback whales, orcas, Dall’s porpoise, harbor seals, sea lions, sea otters and puf fi ns. The group will also visit museums to see one of the largest collections of Native Alaskan art and artifacts in the world, and also learn about the tragic earthquake in 1964, that nearly wiped out the town, and how it was rebuilt and revitalized with the Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline. In addition to the city-speci fi c activities, Hangouts always include visits to local restaurants and breweries as well as camp fi res, potlucks and fun at the campground. Please note that we are not offering a traveling caravan either to Alaska or between these Hangouts. However, there will be a private Facebook group for all those who register so you can arrange your own

travel companions, if you wish, and keep in touch with a network of similar-minded travelers as you spend the summer in Alaska. We know that driving an RV up to Alaska is a big commitment of time and we anticipate that people who are going to be making the trip will want to attend all three events. Therefore, when tickets go on sale for these Hangouts, on January 11th, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, we will initially offer them as a three-event bundle. We anticipate a sell-out for the bundle, but if there are any spaces available after the initial ticket sales, we will offer the events individually.
