Because of continuous growth, Church Street once again moved to the new First National Bank Westside branch in 2006. By the mid-2010s, the fi rm continued to out-grow the bank’s space. The need for our building became evident and we broke ground for the stand-alone Church Street Financial location. The building was completed in February of 2016, and eight employees made the exciting move to the new location where Church Street Financial still is today (at the corner of 350 South and 190 West, about 7.5 miles west of the Livingston Escapees Park). This move allowed a fast expansion on both sides of the shop, with adequate room for more employees. Today, Church Street Financial has 14 employees. Between the two sides of the shop, we have eight licensed insurance agents and four Investment Advisor Representatives (with all advisors holding additional desig nations, including two Certi fi ed Financial Planners™). We also have a support staff that specializes in customer service.
Our History In the 1990s, the idea for Church Street Financial came from the former President of the First National Bank of Livingston. He realized that his customers not only needed banking services, but also a local place to conduct their insurance and investment business. Church Street Financial opened its doors in 1997 as a subsidiary of First National Bank of Livingston (FNB). Initially, we operated solely as an independent insur ance agency with only two employees. We were housed in FNB’s Onalaska branch, with some of our fi rst clients as Escapees members. Pivotal Years After two short years of being in the Onalaska area, Church Street Financial permanently relocated to Livingston. We rang in the new millennium in First National Bank’s downtown branch and, in November of that same year, the brokerage side of the fi rm was created.
