ROGERDUBUIS EXCALIBURAVENTADOR S Focusing on its recently established relationship with Lamborghini, Roger Dubuis released the Excalibur Aventador S. Codeveloped by Roger Dubuis’s designers and Lamborghini’s engineers, this exceptional timepiece is no ordinary auto-inspired watch. It has five high-performance features, each of which is patented. Most notably, its anti-gravity RD103SQmovement references the V10 or V12 engines of the Aventador S car and has a double 45-degree V-shaped angled balance wheel. Other new technology includes an autonomous stability program, which uses twin nonresonant double- sprung balance wheels; a weight-reduced mechanism, which replaces the entire gear train; and G-force anti-ejection reinforcement. The Excalibur Aventador S watch is crafted of C-SMC carbon and is 100 percent skeletonized, from case to movement, so you can marvel at these innovations. ULYSSE NARDIN DIVER DEEP DIVE The newDiver Deep Dive fromUlysse Nardin focuses on function and technical advancement. It’s water resistant to an incredible 1,000meters —nearly three times the depths a highly trained technical diver can reach. The manufacture-made caliber, UN-320, has a patented silicium escape- wheel and lever system, and a silicium balance wheel. The titaniumwatch has a removable crown guard at 2 o’clock, so wearing the 46mmwatch outside of the water is comfortable, not cumbersome. At 9 o’clock, there’s a helium-escape valve. The all-new rubber strap is expandable, so it adjusts to changes in wrist size during dive compressions. In addition to its marine complications, it has ocean-themed decorations. A shark motif appears throughout: the dial has 15 hammerhead sharks and there are three additional sharks on the crown guard, sub-seconds dial and caseback. In total, there are 18 sharks, which nods to its introduction in 2018. BELL &ROSSBR-X1 TOURBILLONRS18 Celebrating its third year as a key partner of the Renault Sport Formula One Team, Bell & Ross introduced a BR-X1 Tourbillon RS18, inspired by the new Renault single-seat race car. A skillful blend of technology and engineering, the 45mm tourbillon chronograph features a case made of perforated titanium, making it extremely lightweight and strong. Powered by the hand-wound 282-part BR-CAL.283 caliber with flying tourbillon and monopusher column- wheel chronograph, the watch is equipped with four days of power reserve. The chronograph functions have yellow and red accents for easy readability. It is activated with rocker pushers reminiscent of the Formula One steering wheels. An open-worked dial enables viewing of the high-tech gear train. The new strap is made from black perforated rubber that offers extra breathability. Fitted with a sapphire caseback and featuring Super-LumiNova hands and markers, it is water resistant to 100meters.
