FABERGÉ VISIONNAIRE CHRONOGRAPH

EMMANUEL BOUCHET EB02 AUTOMATIC

ANDERSENGENÈVE SPLIT- SECONDCHRONOGRAPH WORLDTIMER

ARMIN STROMMIRRORED FORCE RESONANCE HONORABLE MENTION

The House of Fabergé turns to master watchmaker Jean-MarcWiederrecht of Agenhor for assistance in building unique complications. They've stepped up their game with the Visionnaire Chronograph watch with a movement that is unusual in its chronograph counter display. They usually indicate elapsed time on a series of subdials, but the Visionnaire displays the chronograph totalizers via concentric circles emanating from the center of the dial. Three years in the making, the movement, AGH 6361, features a central chronograph module with a patented elapsed time and, when the chronograph is stopped, displays the elapsed hours, minutes and seconds via the center circles and gold hands. The 43mmwatch has 60 hours of power reserve and comes in gold or steel with gold. $39,500 Where to buy Fabergé in London, contact Christopher MacDonald, sales@faberge. com, +44 207 491 7256, faberge.com clutch system inside. The alluring Emmanuel Bouchet EB02 Automatic features offset hours and minutes, slanted seconds on a subdial at 6 o’clock along with day/night indicator. The time indications are read off of a transparent sapphire and offer multi- dimensions to the intriguing dial. What really sets the watch apart, though, is the fact that the EB02 boasts the world’s first dial-side diamond setting with no prongs or claws. In fact, the diamonds are positioned on unique cones floating inside the crystal sapphire dome. The system has a patent pending. It is the first automatic micro-rotor-powered caliber from Emmanuel Bouchet and the movement components are delicately decorated with perlage and Côtes de Genève techniques. This 18K white gold version features a mother-of-pearl dial. $59,000 Where to buy Provident Jewelry in

Since 1979, Svend Andersen, master watchmaker, has been amassing a global following for his special timepieces. Collectors continually expect something new and unusual from him, and this year he doesn’t disappoint. He unveils a new milestone in luxury watchmaking: the first mechanical split-second chronograph worldtimer. It's difficult to combine these complications, but Andersen achieves it via an ingenious multi-parts dial with the first rotating sapphire glass ring displaying the 24 time zones. As always at Andersen Genève, any specific personalization (such as changing the names of the cities) can be realized. The watch is crafted in 18K white gold with transparent caseback. A true technological innovation, Armin Strom’s Mirrored Force Resonance watch is a complex piece that, due to its patented movement, increases accuracy by 30 percent. Several years in the R&D stages, the patented Caliber ARF 15 offers a stabilized going rate that translates to better accuracy and conserves energy with its dual regulators. Resonance is achieved via two independent mainsprings, gear trains, escapements and balances that are connected with a certain amount of distance between them. In this watch, Armin Strom developed a resonance clutch spring to connect the two sets of oscillators. While the first Mirrored Force Resonance watch was unveiled in late 2016, it is making its way to stores now in the new stainless steel version of the Armin StromMirrored Force Resonance. $54,000 Where to buy Feldmar Watch Company in Los Angeles, CA, +1 310 274 8016, arminstrom.com
