VACHERON CONSTANTIN COPERNICUS CELESTIAL SPHERES

GRAHAM GEO.GRAHAM ORRERY TOURBILLON

Deftly blending technology and craftsmanship, Vacheron Constantin's all-new Copernicus Celestial Spheres collection pays tribute to Nicolaus Copernicus and the great astronomical discovery, the theory of heliocentrism. This new collection is offered in three different dial versions and houses an original patent-pending caliber featuring peripheral hands. It reproduces the theory of heliocentrism with Earth’s rotation during its yearly orbit around the sun (365.2423 days) and Earth’s rotation on itself (24 hours). Incredibly precise, the “Earth” in this watch only needs to be adjusted every 8,000 years. This 18K white gold version features a hand-painted dial under layers of laser- and hand-engraved sapphire crystal. $93,500 Where to buy Contact Vacheron Constantin concierge, concierge.us@vacheron-constantin.com, +1 877 701 1755, vacheron-constantin.com

From Graham, the manual Geo.Graham Orrery Tourbillon houses the Caliber G1800, a high-precision mechanical movement exclusively made for Graham by Christophe Claret. The 48mm watch with blue lacquered dial offers a 100-year calendar on the caseback, with two additional graduations of 100 years for 300 years of total calendar accuracy. The dial offers hours and minutes, Gregorian calendar (365.25 days) and zodiac calendar. The solar system is represented by different materials: moon by a fragment from the NWA4881 meteorite; Earth by Kingman Turquoise; and Mars by a fragment from Tissint meteorite. The sun is represented by a hand-engraved tourbillon bridge with two phoenix heads inspired by a George Graham decoration, with a close-set diamond at the center. Just eight pieces are being made. $330,000 Where to buy Feldmar Watch Company in Los Angeles, CA, contact Jamie Hayes, manager, jamie@feldmarwatch.com, +1 310 274 8016, graham1695.com
