The hotly anticipated Gucci decor collection features whimsical patterns, hand-sewn details and assorted motifs — snakes, tigers, pineapples and, of course, blooming Gucci Flora. Ranging from candles (presented in Richard Ginori porcelain and scents developed by Michele) to cushions (featuring an embroidered bee, taken from Gucci’s archives from the 1970s), the kitsch collection makes an unmistakably Gucci statement. A collaboration between two British icons, de Gournay, makers of exquisite hand-painted wallpaper, and Kate Moss, supermodel and reformed wild child, results in a resplendent wallpaper creation. The design, Anemones in Light, shows the flower (which, according to Greek mythology, grew from Aphrodite’s tears for Adonis and is a symbol of good luck) in tumbling blossoms with splices of silver. The working title for the collection was Twilight, Moss’s favorite time of day. The two colorways depict the different times of day in both title and color scheme: Dusk is hand painted on custom gray-painted Xuan paper, and Daybreak design colors are on blue-gray dyed silk. Both designs can be entirely customized and new colorways can be created on request. In an intimate design process, Moss particularly enjoyed peaceful afternoons spent painting and sipping Lapsang souchong tea, and has the finished product in her own home in Notting Hill. $1,470 per panel, degournay.com AT HOME WITH KATE MOSS
