The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has been exhibiting the finest showcars in the world since 1950, and celebrates the craftsmanship of beautiful, vintage cars. The 2017 event saw a number of sensational restorations, but the 1929 Mercedes-Benz won Best of Show. The owner, Bruce R McCaw, was up against his brother John McCaw in the final circle, competing with his 1957 Ferrari 315 S Scaglietti Spyder. The 2018 Concours will take place on Sunday, August 26 and with 200 prized collector cars, as well as some of the most anticipated concept cars and new car debuts. The championed elegance of the cars is matched by the polished appearance of attendees — chic hats and statement fascinators are favored.
