“...this year we experienced the most rewarding and memorable family vacation ever! We discovered the real Los Cabos.” For our next adventure, we moved inland and journeyed through the desert in our chauffeured open-air Mercedes- Benz Unimog 4x4, admiring the flora and fauna along the way. The rugged Baja Outback, home to ancient cacti, natural arroyos and an array of wildlife, was more beautiful and interesting than I ever imagined. After a catered picnic lunch, we jumped on our ATV’s and continued our guided nature drive through cactus-covered mountains, over deep canyons, dry streams, and the beach with amazing sand dunes. The views from the seaside cliffs were spectacular. Perhaps the highlight of our Los Cabos adventure, at least for the kids, was the “Monster Zip Line” experience. Wow! That’s all I can say…and they have not stopped talking about the excitement of flying across the canyons below at what seemed like 100 miles an hour. Even with all the new things we experienced in Los Cabos, we still had plenty of time to enjoy our luxurious beach front suite, a couple of incredible rounds of golf, gourmet family dinners and of course, my wife hit the spa a few times for some of their signature treatments. Los Cabos has excellent specialty tour operators and they all exceeded our expectations. Working together, our personal travel agent and the resort’s activities concierge created the perfect earth, sea and sky vacation. We discovered the real Los Cabos!

My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon in Los Cabos more than 20 years ago and have returned several times since. Over the years, we have seen an amazing transformation from the destination’s original barefoot elegance, to one of the world’s most exclusive luxury hideaways. On this trip, we wanted to do things that we have always talked about but never actually explored as a family. Los Cabos proved to be the perfect choice and we experienced the most rewarding and memorable family vacation ever! Where else in the world could our family swim with giant whale sharks, float within inches of the planets largest mammals and cruise side by side with acres of dolphins, all in the same morning. The expression of amazement on their young faces and the excitement in my wife’s eyes was something that cannot be described.
