Since its founding in 1889, leading Swiss boarding school Institut auf dem Rosenberg has always been forward-thinking when it comes to educating its students, with the crucial aim of preparing them for life beyond the school gates. Whether it’s pioneering a unique Talent and Enrichment Programme of over 100 co-curricular courses, which runs alongside five traditional qualifications, or investing in cutting-edge technology, the school equips students with the tools they need to anticipate and adapt to the challenges of a fast-changing world. In line with this aim, headmaster Bernhard Gademann has recently unveiled the new Rosenberg Future Park — a state-of-the-art facility where students can undertake projects guided by expert partners in the fields of science and technology, including leading university for technology ETH Zurich, SAGA space architects and Boston Dynamics, which specializes in
robotics design. Featuring a climate garden, a farm bot and wind trees, the Rosenberg Future Park is an essential stepping-stone in supporting Rosenberg’s mission to revolutionize education. The school, which is already globally recognized for its advanced approach to education, has always been quick to embrace new ways of learning, and has long sought to offer a unique and contemporary learning experience that aims to close the gap between education and the real, professional world of the 21st century. The Rosenberg Future Park will be a contemporary educational playfield where the projects students undertake will help them anticipate and shape the future of humanity on earth and beyond. The first of its kind, Rosenberg Future Park complements the long- standing Rosenberg Creative Lab, where students’ creativity is nurtured through art, technology and design using 3D printers, holograms and
