The 60th Anniversary of Piaget’s Altiplano

When Piaget introduced its ultra-thin self-winding movement in 1957, it was revolutionary. Since then, the brand has established itself at the forefront of ultra-thin timepieces, breaking many records and consistently striving to be even thinner. To celebrate the iconic Altiplano’s 60th anniversary, Piaget has created a limited-edition timepiece using a movement that pays homage to the original ground-breaking caliber. The 43mmwatch has a blue dial in an 18K white gold case and blue alligator strap. The dial features a cross in the center and a historical inscription. In addition, Piaget releases a range of colored Altiplano timepieces. The 34mm pink watch offers a sophisticated mechanical piece with a 2.1mm thick 430P movement, while the 40mmwatches come in blue, slate grey and the pictured green. And there is also a newer movement, the 1203P, which includes a date function.
