You probably haven’t heard of Rue du Vertbois in Paris’s sleepy 3rd arrondissement. But once real estate developer Cédric Naudon has finished with it, the little cobbled street may lay credible claim to being one of the foodiest streets in French capital. Each of the 36 units on the street has been bought by Naudon, whose vision is to create the ultimate culinary street tour through a range of high-specification, independent gourmet establishments married under a collective name – La Jeune Rue. Already open is an organic butcher, Sicilian restaurant PAN (pictured), a Korean street food joint, designed by Italian maven Paula Navone, and the revamped Argentine restaurant Anahi. To come is a Tom Dixon-designed grocery store and a speakeasy. lajeunerue.com
