A NEW MOONPHASE FOR ROLEX For its first moonphase complication since the 1950s, Rolex introduces its most elegant Cellini watch to date. We love Rolex’s dressier collection, Cellini, that was reintroduced in 2014. The timepieces have graceful 39mm cases with a domed and fluted double bezel. The new 18K Everose gold Cellini Moonphase has a white lacquer dial with a stunning blue enamel moonphase subdial. The rotating disc shows a full moon with a piece of meteorite and the newmoon with a silver ring. To read the moonphase, there is an indicator at 12 o’clock on the subdial. Accuracy is one of Rolex’s hallmarks. It famously certifies its timepieces as Superlative Chronometers, which means they are accurate to -2/+2 seconds per day, and this is more difficult to achieve than a traditional chronometer certification fromCOSC.
