STYLE THE VOYAGER by Kristen Shirley

THE VOYAGER Bode Miller What does an Olympic-gold-medal-winning alpine skier do in his downtime? Head to Aspen, of course. While Bode Miller grew up skiing in New Hampshire, he loves to get out to Colorado, which always feels like home to him. Miller loves the difficulty on Aspen Mountain, calling it one of the greatest top-to-bottommountains in North America: “All the runs that go off to the right of Ruthie’s Run are crazy steep and fast, and almost never have skiers on them.” And what does he wear when hitting the slopes? “I usually end up skiing in my Aztech Mountain Lenado Plaid Quilted Shirt, but if it gets cold, my Wool Multi Nuke Suit always keeps me comfortable. Other essentials include my Full Tilt Drop Kick boots, and my Samsung Galaxy watch and Note 9 to track everything.” While we can’t guarantee you’ll instantly turn into a world-class skier when wearing his picks (and skis he personally designed), at least you’ll look the part.

“Stopping into Ajax Tavern for a beer after a hard day of skiing or sitting on the deck at Bonnie’s for lunch are favorites.”

“I pack my Esperos travel bags full of Aztech gear.”

“I always bring my Bomber Pro Terrain skis and my Bomber All Mountain skis, as they both seem to work in every condition.”
