Since she was young, she has spent every summer in upstate New York’s Adirondacks. Recently, she visited Rajasthan, India, to build a school with a youth organization. p71
Susannah is a British-born writer whose work has been published in Condé Nast Traveler , CNN Travel , AFAR and Forbes Travel Guide . Her favorite place to visit year after year is Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Mexico, for its laid-back surf vibe. Still unchecked on her vacation wish list is to travel by train through Mexico’s Copper Canyon. p126
Laurie’s work takes him around the world to shoot for international editions of Vogue , Elle USA and Bergdorf Goodman, and he’s known for his beautiful lighting techniques which are more akin to film than photography. While Cairo, Israel and US road trips inspire his photography most, Laurie loves vacationing in the Swiss Alps, Morocco andMauritius. p58
After spending 10 years living in Argentina, Chris is an expert on South American travel, and his work is regularly published in The Daily Telegraph . His favorite place to vacation is Patagonia for its big skies and open space (he is the author of Patagonia: A Cultural History ), but most recently, Chris was captivated by the surreal Uyuni salt flat in Bolivia. p130
