Since she was first bitten by the ski bug aged just three, Gabriella has skied in over 130 resorts – from Europe and North America to Iceland and Japan. She is the author of The Ultimate Ski Book and The Stylish Life, Skiing and regularly contributes travel features to the Financial Times , The Telegraph , Condé Nast Travelle r UK , Tatler and Vanity Fair. p84

Originally from Iceland, Silja is now based in New York. Her work appears in a variety of publications including Harper's Bazaar , Marie Claire , GQ , Allure , Elle UK and The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. Silja cites the rawness and mystery of the awesome Icelandic landscape as a major inspiration for her photography. p76

Libby is a graphic designer and illustrator based in London. She graduated from the University of Creative Arts in London with a First Class degree in Illustration, and has been commissioned by a wide variety of magazines, books and companies. Libby really enjoys drawing "traditionally" using pencil as well as inks. p136

Minty is a London-based travel journalist – and, by her own admission, a global gypsy. She specializes in adventure in remote places – often on skis or horseback. She contributes to an extensive portfolio of newspapers and magazines, including the Financial Times , The Telegraph , The Sunday Times Travel Magazine and The National in Abu Dhabi. p94

Award-winning photographer Øivind lives and works in Oslo, Norway. Using a simple, natural, Scandinavian style, he shoots places, people and food. Working with a contrast of light, colors and objects, Øivind has shot for Norway's top advertising agencies as well as editorial clients including Condé Nast Traveller UK and The New York Times . p123
