GOLF There are three golf courses to choose from: Seaside (par 70); and Plantation and Retreat (both par 72). Adjacent to The Lodge, Seaside is the pinnacle of links golf in Georgia and Sea Island’s most demanding course. Its waterfront location provides captivating views of the Georgia coast. Also adjacent to The Lodge, with strategic bunkering and classic green complexes, Plantation plays along the water and through majestic oaks. It was redesigned by brothers Mark and Davis Love III, and re-opened in Fall 2019. The Retreat Course’s green complexes are a combination of slope, sand bunkers and undulations that combine to create a masterful experience for the golfer. There is also a 17,000-sq-ft Golf Performance Center featuring industry-leading technology, six instruction and club fitting bays, a putting studio, golf
