HERMÈS ARCEAU PETITE LUNE Turning to celestial bodies for inspiration, Hermès embraces the stars, moon and planets in this Petite timepiece. With a dial made of aventurine and planets made from gemstones such as aragonite and opal, a mother-of-pearl moon, and diamond stars, the watch reels in the wearer with its alluring tale of the solar system. The watch is powered by a self-winding movement that not only o ff ers hours and minutes, but also the phases of the moon (inset at between 10 and 11 o’clock on the dial). CHOPARD IMPERIALE DAY-NIGHT Taking an artistic spin on time,
Chopard unveils just 25 pieces of this superb watch with a rotating dial that utilizes diamonds, sapphires and mother-of-pearl to depict the ever changing sky. Chopard also re-creates the beloved lotus fl ower using ethical 18-karat rose gold that is entirely hand engraved. The top of the fl ower is open-worked to see the sky, while the center disc rotates to depict the day and night indications. GREUBEL FORSEY DOUBLE BALANCIER CONVEXE Greubel Forsey has been creating architecturally intriguing movements and watches since its inception. Recently, though, the Swiss brand has opted to scale down in case size to be more wearable and ergonomic. This scaling down requires the brand to totally re-invent their movements, as well, so they fi t inside the smaller case. This Double Balancier Convexe is powered by an all-new 374-part caliber and is one of the fi rst smaller-version timepieces — measuring 43.5mm in diameter.
