Conrad Los Angeles GRAND PENTHOUSE

Situated in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles is the new Conrad Los Angeles hotel. Designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry, the building sits opposite the Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall. Gehry, in partnership with interior designer Tara Bernerd & Partners, helped design the hotel, the brand’s fi rst West Coast location. For guests with furry friends, the hotel has a Pet Passionate Package with credit towards a pet dining menu by executive chef David Feau and a branded dog bed. There’s also a monthly Yappy Hour from 5pm to 7pm with gourmet dog cookies, ‘doggie-water’ infused with bone broth and chicken stock, dog-friendly water fountains, and a rooftop lawn with jumping hurdles and toys for pets. The 24th- fl oor Grand Penthouse has fl oor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Grand Avenue. Decorated with mid-century modern twists, the 1,414-sq-ft suite is a calm, contemporary escape from the city. The penthouse features a master bedroom, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with Mojave Ghost amenities by Byredo, and a decadent tub that overlooks the concert hall — you can even see the Hollywood sign in the distance. There’s a separate living room and six-seat dining room for entertaining, but the real draw is the terrace. With a fi repit, couch seating and an outdoor dining table, the alfresco space opens up the suite to an indoor-outdoor experience perched over the city. From $3,500 per night.
