In the bathroom, we tend to equate White with cleanliness. And with personal well-being so much a focus of the modern daily routine, White remains a natural choice for the bathroom space. The bathrooms in our repertoire this year use whites that are muted in one way or another: matte finishes, ombre shades and off-whites. We’ve drawn from the high glamour of Hollywood, the pattern-infused smokiness of India and the cool of a high-desert oasis. While most often Smoky takes us to warmer tones, the palette embraces quite a spectrum of browns, from weathered woods with gray notes to fiery earth tones with nut-brown undertones. And in keeping with the times, the palette skews more organic this year.
