Gortite ® Bellows-Type Die Set Shields extend die set life and increase operator safety even in the highest speed applications. Installed over the guide pins and bushings as shown, they protect these components against damage from abrasive particles, scrap, and scale. Gortite ® shields are manufactured of heavy-duty, oil-resistant, Neoprene­ coated nylon. Shields come in standard lengths and diameters complete with back-up mounting plate and clamp. They can be factory installed by Superior or ordered separately and installed by the customer.
