Endzone Into the

It was the 2019 football season. In the past couple of seasons, the numbers of students on the team had been a major issue for the football team. Fortunately, numbers rose this year as more underclassmen decided to give football a try. On the JV team, the players learned the fundamentals of football, how to be a good teammate and how to build team chemistry. Diego Nunez #21 said, "At times during games when we were struggling, I'd be nervous and asked myself, why did I join the football team, but I remembered our brotherhood and the loyalty."

Once again the Rams faced the Rajahs. For the coaches, this was one of the games they care about the most. The more than a decade old rivalry between the two schools, was still as new as ever. Coach Bellows said, "emotions run high at these games because both teams have a lot of respect for each other's abilities." Both teams put on a show, but unfortunately for the Rams, they could not pull off a victory. -Story by: Alejandro Leon
