When you walked into a class did you ever notice the layout, the furniture, the mood? Senior, Denisse Valdez said, " The first time I walked into Mrs. Gonda's classroom my stress vanished right when I sat on her comfortable sofa, maybe it was the layout or the peace in the class, but I felt good." Feeling comfortable is not only about enjoying the decoration of a class, rather it's about feeling like it's the right educational environment. Junior, Paola Perez said, "To me the vibe of a classroom was very important because if the classroom was too ordinary and chaotic I was bound to get distracted and I would not have been able to do my work." Having the right or wrong environment can have a big effect on productivity.

This yearbook page was made to give recognition to the wonderful teachers and staff who went above and beyond their jobs to make us feel more comfortable in our surroundings. English teacher Mrs. Gonda said "I wanted my students to have a place where they could engage in rich discussion and I did that by creating a comfortable place that felt like home, somewhere they can let their guard down, where they won't have to protect themselves from other people, where they can just be themselves and where they could come in and let go of any worries they had and focus on learning."
