agreed with Fabian's advice and were comfortable in there own skin. Albeit, due to life's uncertainties at times it may be difficult to stick to "you," nonetheless, like Fabian said "be you, just don't worry about anyone else and you will be happy. " Discovering who you are is a long road which can take various years to finally complete. Over these years one will always face hardships but over time they will be closer and closer to achieving the goal of discovering what really makes them who they are. Story by Yarline Cabrera.

There were many ways to express yourself this school year whether it was via dance, choice in fashion, lifestyle, or identity. Often however only the more confident individuals like Junior Fabian Lizarraga were not concerned about standing out against the crowd. Fabian explained how important it was to, "be yourself no matter what, and always I say, always look at the positive side of life." Students like Fabian can serve as role models to all. A Student Full of Energy

As Fabian Lizarraga walked around with what he calls he Dragon Ball Z hair he had a smile on his face living a free spirited life. His Link Crew advisor, Mr.Beck described him as a student full of energy and someone anyone could learn from. Fabian said, "The people around him make him happy and he hopes they never give up on their dreams and everything will be okay." He recently has started writing poems as a way to express his emotions.

The Shirt

Brayan Araujo recognized how important his orinality was. He knew his individuality was like none other, so he proudly had a t-shirt made with his very own image. Bryan said "I love myself and wanted to show my sister that this shirt is amazing and one of a kind, because well... I am unique."

My Passion Senior Cindy Sanchez performed for the East Valley Dance Project at the McCallum Theater. Dancing for many is a way to relive stress or express how one may be feeling Cindy said "I dance because its a way for me to express how I'm feeling through my body." said Cindy Sanchez(11).
