Phobias, some can be as common as a #2 pencil and some can be as uncommon as a humming bird. Some phobias are extremely serious like the Amazon burning, and some are less important like keeping up with your social media. Reactions to phobias have a series of different consequences: ranging from mild anxiety, panic attacks, to even fainting and going unconscious. Although, the majority of people believe that their fears won't be overcome, some are still hopeful eventually they will rid themselves of their phobias no matter how big or small they may be. Having phobias is really scary. Being a victim to phobias is a feeling like none other. The immense anxiety feeling isn't something just anyone can understand. Victims of phobias when in public places many times walk around cautiously hoping they will not see what triggers them. Phobias are nothing to be joked about with people who have them. Senior Camila Rodriguez's biggest phobia are spiders. The minute she sees a spider she freaks out because," They have 8 'patas,' they are disgusting with a capital D, are slimy, and when you step on them brown goo gushes out, Oh my God the thought makes my skin curl." Unforrtunatley, many people are never able to overcome their phobias. -Story By: Blanca Almada PHENOMENON HENOMENON
