Junior Ivan Maldonado as a part of a Halloween class activity passed out candy and connected with individuals who he may not have as teachers or classmates. Luckily for Ms. Miguel she was a fortunate one, who not only got to meet a new face but also received a tasty treat from Ivan.

For college and career readiness day, students were able to network and meet individuals in different careers. Students received advice, and important information about future careers they may be interested in. It was a day in which everyone was able to connect with someone.

Agustin Arreola who graduated from UCLA and Ricardo Ramirez from CSUSB. Are now both working for non profit organizations like "Lift to Rise" and "One Future" part of their job is coming back to visit students at DM to inspire them and give them advice on career and college options specially for Seniors.
