Surrender the ME for the WE

"Being part of a team made me a better student, because I learned how to work with other people to accomplish a goal. We cheered each other through all types of different times. That's what

teammates do," Adrian Franco (11 )

Bringing Out the Best of Each Other

You Got Served! "Being part of a sport may have been stressful and tiring, however I reminded myself about my goals in life and I used that to push myself forward. I honestly believe this was what drove the team to do their best at every match and having fun too." Brian Castro (12 ). "Athletics made me a better student in the self discipline sense. For instance, even though at the end of every practice, I may have felt tired, it felt good. Being tired meant that I was putting in effort and it reflected back to me being a student. It inspired me to put the same effort in classes, as I did on the court," Jose Sanchez (12 )

"When I graduate, I will miss my teammates because throughout every practice we became a family. And also, saying 'Yes coach! I love push-ups,' and doing push-ups as a celebration will be one memory I will forever cherish. One advice I would give to future team members would be to always listen to the coach because by listening you'll be able to learn faster," Alejandro Palomares (12) Fight to' Victory

"Practice was tough most of the times. However, my teammates made it fun by telling jokes and playing around (

United we play, United we win UnUnU itetet d wewew plalal y,y,y,y,y UnUnU itetetetet d wewew wiwiw nini

occasionally if the Coach was

in a good mood.) This season was great and I really enjoyed spending time with my friends." Andres Alejo-rivera (11 )

"I believe my teammates did really good this season. Plus, we got a new coach that has helped us a lot throughout this year and I can't wait to see the impact he makes on future tennis players. Mr. Payan was an effective coach and he made practice tough, but enjoyable at the same time. I will for sure miss the moments we made," Fernando Murillo (12 )
