The Desert Mirage Swim Team consisted of both boys and girls which all shared the love of being in the water. Swimming took hours of practice to make sure that the strokes were perfected. Swim season officially began in Spring, yet many swimmers started practicing in mid-October. They were assisted by Coach Lutz and Coach McDaniel. Swimmers who received assistance had the opportunity to perfect their strokes which required a lot of strength and technique during both practice and meets. It was of crucial importance to remain focused
