My Passion

Anahi Martinez (11th) has been playing softball ever since she was 8 years old and saw the sport as an escape. She has been in the team since Freshmen year and now as a Junior she was ready to continue to improve her skills for her senior year. Having fun, making memories with others, and her passion for softball has brought Anahi back each year.

Practice Makes Perfect

Mystery Unveiled Emily Ramirez (11th) was curious about the sport and decided to try making it to JV where she learned the basics of the softball. During practice you would see Emily practicing her pitching along side her teammates making sure to better her throw. On the field she was seen striking out the opposing team. Michelle Cardenas (12th) joined her Junior year and made it to Varsity granting her a pleasant surprise beacuse she didn't know how to play very well. One of the memories she will take with her was the mystery of "peepeechonis" when she had an accident which led to an embarassing outcome. "Remember last year, peepeechonis? It's me! Peace out!" she stated proudly.

First Season Game

Leslie Eseberre (12th) first memory of the season was when she brought her team three points out of five. She recalls it being her turn to bat when all three bases were full. She was able to hit it far away enough making all three of her teammates able to score a point making her feel proud she could help her team. Adding onto bringing in three points she made it all the way to second base.

Saira Garcia (12th) joined softball her Junior year and although she felt like quitting at the

beggining she ended up loving the sport. Playing the sport made her feel a sensation throughout her which she defined as power, this made her stay and continue. Letting Go of Fears Letting go of the fear of the ball coming straight at her has made her position as 2nd base easier.

Cindy Vargas (12th) joined softball out of curiosity not knowing she would grow to love the sport. Her favorite memories are being all together with her teammates just interacting and having fun. The adrenaline of the sport causes her joy from her toes all the way to the top. Having Fun
