Being a member of the girls' varsity basketball team involved plenty of dedication, effort, and commitment. These girls have demonstrated all of this and more. Their long and tough hours of practice paid off. They played strong throughout the season and never backed down. They formed a stronger sense of unity which was a major key to success. "At first most of us were strangers, but as time passed we learned a lot from each other. Our bond grew through each game," Senior Camila Rodriguez said.

This year the girls had plenty of victories which demonstrated their commitment to improving every day as a team and individually. "There was no better way to demonstrate our dedication to the team than winning games. Let the success be the roar," Junior Yarecsi Hernandez said. For the upcoming season, the girls are trying to maintain the team strong. This year was a success for them and they want to keep doing their best for the upcoming year. -Story by Elizabeth Esteban

Senior Advice

"This is my last year in high school and I enjoyed every single moment of it. The best part of it was being in this beautiful team. The unity and being able to travel and connect with my teammates was the best experience of all. A piece of advice I would tell the girls is to keep working hard and never give up. Never doubt yourself because everyone is talented," Senior Jazmine Gamboa said.
