Teamwork

Teamwork, everyone found it very important and all of the girls agreed that it was an essential for a well functioning team. Coach Payan gathered them together to discuss the ups and downs of the games so the girls could understand what they had done wrong and be able to fix their mistakes.

Coach Payan, is not only a math teacher but the Girls Tennis and Girls JV basketball coach. He was a man of a few, but meaningful words,"Alright girls have fun and try your best."

Being Supportive

Sophomore Akire Espinoza decided to join basketball because she wanted to be supportive of our Lady Rams team. She said, "I do not regret joining the team because I made so many memories when we were playing, I can't think of a day where I'd stop playing."

Adventures

Judith Zarate (10th) being in her second year of basketball said, "It was an amazing experience everyday, I never knew what practice would be like but practicing with my teammates was always a fun adventure."

Competition

Mayra Acosta (11th) looking so innocent and yet she was really fierce and competitive. "The only reason why I joined basketball was because we get to compete against other schools and I was able to show my ability not only as a solo player but over all as a team, although it was my first year I believe I did a good job ."
