Soccer has been more than a sport, it's been a passion. The athletes who formed the girls varsity soccer team felt more than gratitude for being part of an amazing family. The amount of gratitude and kindness that had filled each soccer player's heart was more than love not only for the game, but for their school pride. Senior Captain Anastasia Cruz said, "As captain, the team means a lot to me. It's about having mutual support, guidance, and care so when we are on the field we have the confidence of being better players on and off the field." Nonetheless, soccer has been a guide and training that has helped them prepare for life. It made them mentally and physically strong, to overcome any obstacle that might of gotten in their way, whether it was in the field or outside the field. Story by Rosa Delgado
