Being one of our many school prides, the JV soccer players were bound to feel immense pressure. However, everyday they strove to improve and go beyond the expectations given. These players dedicated 4-5 hours everyday afterschool in order to exceed these expectations. Moreover, the JV soccer team, like many, had their challenges. However one thing that they truly had was the "ganas, desire" the compassion and love for the sport. That being said, students gained the motivation to make those great efforts from their brotherly love and understanding towards each other. "We knew how to work cohesively and be there for each other both on and off the field," Juan Castillo (11th) . The sport's necessity for teamwork influenced these players to become skillful at communicating to one another. Communication is an important element to all team activities thus, the soccer players achieved to strengthen their relationships in order to improve their coordination skills. Strengthening their bonds was made simple due to their shared love for the sport, the sense of community that was made surrounding this soccer was what made the team indestructible.
