MaxRay features a permanently attached, extra long cone to protect the operator and the patient from unnecessary radiation exposure and a lead infused back scatter shield to protect the operator from potential back scatter. Iridium Dental puts safety first, which is why the MaxRay was designed with patient and operator safety in mind. The MaxRay produces significantly less radiation than wall-mount units.
