The result is a durable engine with 404 hp at 5,600 rpm and 406 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,600 rpm. Heads feature large intake runners and 2.00/1.55-inch valves. A forged steel crankshaft and strong aluminum pistons installed in a brand new block with four-bolt mains. Includes an open plenum high-rise intake manifold, a racing-only 8-quart circle track oil pan with a dual kick-out design, a valve cover breather kit and aluminum roller rocker arms. The CT350 long block 602 crate motor offers 5.7L/350 CID with approximately 9.12:1 compression, 350 hp at 5,400 rpm, and 396 ft.-lbs. of torque at 3,800 rpm. The factory-sealed circle track crate engine has a recommended max rpm of 5,500. Each package comes complete with high rise dual-plane intake manifolds, stamped steel valve covers with racing-style breathers, and 8-quart single kickout oil pans. The included camshafts are hydraulic fl at tappet style and feature .435 inch intake lift and .460-inch exhaust lift. Camshaft intake duration at .050-inch lift is 212 degrees, and exhaust duration is 222 degrees. Other 602 crate engine features include:4-bolt main caps/ one-piece rear main seal blocks, Nodular cast iron crankshafts, Powdered-metal steel connecting rods, Hypereutectic aluminum pistons, Vortec cast iron cylinder heads with 64cc chambers, Standard Morse link timing chains, 170cc intake runners with 1.94-inch intake valves and 1.5-inch exhaust valves.
