Some of the team’s key playmakers from 2024 included first-team, all-district honorees Phillip Jackson and Dylan Banks, with Evan Egans enjoying a breakout sophomore year. This was a relatively young Cougars squad, and with a year of experience, they could potentially be a sleeper heading into 2024.

COACH EDWIN EGANS AND COMPANY EXPERIENCED THEIR FAIR SHARE OF UPS AND DOWNS ON THE COURT THIS PAST WINTER. However, despite facing top-tier competition – namely district opponents Port Arthur Memorial and Barbers Hill – Crosby continued to remain competitive and nearly reached the postseason.
