Receptacle Tension Tester Provides a simple way to check the spring contact tension of a standard straight blade receptacle. Designed to test outlets with the following ratings: 15 A, 125 V, two-pole, two-wire; 15 A, 125 V, two-pole, three-wire; 20 A,125 V, two-pole, three-wire. Completely insulated in an impact-resistant plastic housing and is safe to use on energized receptacles. Each blade has an independent spring to relieve stress and assure consistent readings over a long life. When tension falls below 10 oz, monitor the receptacle closely for further deterioration.
