Unsupported Latex Gloves Unsupported latex gloves resist most water-based chemicals. They provide excellent elasticity and tactile sensitivity. Unsupported gloves are made with no supporting fabrics or liners. Ceramic formers with embossed grip patterns are dipped directly into protective polymers. Generally, unsupported gloves are available in palm thicknesses that range from 11 to 30 mil.
