96 th Annual Bar Show The 96 th Annual Bar Show, “For Lying Out Loud,” opens at DePaul’s Merle Reskin Theatre, 60 East BalboDrive, on Thursday, December 5, and runs through Saturday, December 7, 2019. The curtain rises for each performance at 7:30 p.m. Main floor tickets are still only $45, with mezzanine tickets available at $35 per person. The Bar Show is produced, directed, written, and performed entirely by CBA members, whose consider- able entertainment talents seamlessly tran- scend the courtroom stage to the theatrical stage. The witty writers, Clifford Berman , David Miller , Jay Schleppenbach , Sally Pissetzky Steele and Amy Keller and oth- ers, musically parody international, national, and local personalities and events during the past year. While no one is exempt, all politicos are particularly vulnerable and some would say well deserving of the holiday skewering they receive in the show ‒ all in good fun! This year, Washington, London, Russia, Ukraine, and Chicago produced a bumper crop of material. Songsters, trou-

badours, and thespians at heart, the cast rehearses throughout the year, and their considerable talent is sharply expressed in song and dance on the historicMerle Reskin stage. This year’s Bar Show is a must-see and promises to be one of the best ever. Your family, friends, and clients will love it!
