Lying Model Rule 8.4(c) provides that lawyers cannot engage in conduct that involves dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresen tation. Regardless of whether a lawyer's dishonest behavior is actually connected to their law practice, it is unethical. This is a very broadly applicable rule that disci
