Belle of Baton Rouge Moves to Land, Enhances Players Rewards Benefits B elle of Baton Rouge, a riverboat casino owned by CQ Holding Company that was acquired in May, has been granted permission by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board to move the historic property located on the Mississippi River in downtown Baton Rouge to land.The board approved the request with a unanimous decision during a hearing on Sept. 15. The decision will set CQ Holding Com pany’s plan in motion to move the 16,500-square foot gambling floor, including 350 slot machines and 14 table games, ashore into the Belle of Baton Rouge’s Atrium.As part of the $35 million remodel, the property will also welcome an oyster bar, café and more within the atrium to create a boutique-style casino. In addition, Belle of Baton Rouge is now offering memberships to CQ Rewards, introduc ing expanded benefits and rewards to players. The enhanced benefits program offers four bene fit tiers: Ruby, Emerald,Diamond and Crown; and provides members with personalized offers, discounts and one-of-a-kind access to Belle of Baton Rouge. CQ Rewards credits are accumu lated by playing video poker, reel slots and table games,with benefits ranging by tier and includ ing rewards such as annual rollover credits, priority accommodations and more.
