The guest, who has lived in North Las Vegas for more than a decade, was playing video poker at approximately 2:30 p.m. and after making a $5 wager, the winner hit a rare sequential royal flush jackpot totaling $314,911. The local resident, who requested to remain anonymous, frequently visits the Aliante and has been playing on the same bank of video poker machines for years, winning a few royal flush jackpots at the property. He plans to use some of his winnings to go on road trips. FOUR WINDS SOUTH BEND PAYS OUT BIG IN JUNE The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds South Bend Casino announced that seven people split a Bad Beat Jackpot worth $322,104.80 by playing No Limit Hold ’em on Saturday, June 4. Also on June 4, a guest from Davison, MI, hit a jackpot of $62,867.50 while playing Lock It Link Nightlife on Four Winds’ Online Casino & Sportsbook. Charles F. from Granger, IN, thought he had a winning hand with four 2s but lost to a player with four 7s, which triggered Four Winds’ Bad Beat Jackpot worth $322,104.80. Charles won 50 percent of the jackpot, valued at $161,052.40, while the player with the winning hand, Thomas P. from South Haven, MI, won 25 percent of the jackpot, valued at $80,526.20. The remaining five players at the table from towns in Indiana including Bristol, Elkhart, Granger, Valparaiso and Warsaw also split 25 percent of the jackpot, receiving $16,105.24 each. A Bad Beat Jackpot is paid when a sufficiently strong hand is played, but loses to an even stronger hand held by another player. Players with the two strongest hands receive the majority of the jackpot, with the rest of the table receiving a portion.

The Station Casinos Jumbo Hold ’Em Poker “Bad Beat” Progressive hit at Red Rock Casino Tues., June 21, at approximately 3:41 p.m, with a total payout of $306,939. The losing hand was Quad Queens and the winning hand was a Queen-high straight flush. The winning hand won $30,686 and the losing hand won $46,029.
All eight players at the table won $1,918 each, while all poker guests across Station Casinos poker rooms playing at the time won $1,343 each, including all the players at the winning table. The “loser” with the qualifying hand wins 15 percent of the jackpot while the winning qualifying hand wins 10 percent. The remaining players at the table at the time of the hit split 5 percent of the jackpot while all other active players across Station Casinos poker rooms at the time split the remaining 70 percent. At the time, there were 70 eligible players at Red Rock’s poker room, 34 eligible players at Boulder Station ’s room, and 56 eligible players at Santa Fe Station ’s room.
