You’ll find a variety of ways to enjoy the snowy season, full of sparkling snowflakes, crisp air, and cozy fireplaces. Ski and Shred With a large number of ski resorts here in West Michigan, there are plenty of places to hit the slopes. The resorts all offer day or season passes for the lifts. Don’t know how to ski or snowboard? Not a problem! Many resorts offer lessons for all ages. You can even rent equipment instead of bringing your own skis, snowboard, or helmets.

Snow Tubing Fun A faster version of sledding, tubing is a fun, safe way to get an adrenaline filled thrill with the whole family! Many Northern Michigan resorts, like The Highlands at Harbor Springs and Treetops Resort in Gaylord, have great tubing courses.

Try Something New Have fun exploring the frosty outdoors in a variety of different activities. Try snowshoeing through the woods, horseback riding across the snow, or bike your way through the winter weather on fat-tire bikes. You can even try winter sports and luge at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, one of the only tracks in the United States. Be sure to dress warmly!
