Outdoor In a season of social distancing, being out side has become a mandatory prerequisite for social activities, so for people looking for ways to get off their couches, here are some pandemic-safe outdoor options stu dents have used to make the most of their weekend calendar.
Farmer’s Market
Maybe you were sick of takeout andwanted to eat something a little closer to the farm than to your food delivery app. Every Satur day and Sunday from 8 a.m.–1 p.m., the Riv erside farmer’s market rewarded residents with organic produce and diverse eateries for any palette.
Drive-in Theaters
If leaving the comforts of your air con ditioner wasn’t your thing, a drive-in movie was a great option. At $10 for two movie features, it was a thrifty way to catch the latest blockbuster. Students could also bring their own snacks and blankets for the perfectly cozy movie night out.
