I saw a public an nouncement for the competitive program and applied. I really enjoyed my time going through the curriculum, es pecially because it gave me a front row seat to the needs

of small businesses — especially the many challenges faced by multi-ethnic small business owners — and how com munity bankers worked together to help them find success in America. Such experiences have really shaped the way I see the role of community banks in supporting both the local and broader economy.
