Get Ready to Walk! And Shed Light on Violence Against Women The CBA Young Lawyers Section is teaming up with Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® to organize a unique walk for men through Chicago’s Loop. Men are invited to literally walk one mile through Chicago’s Loop in women’s high-heeled shoes (women are invited to participate and support the male walkers). The event aims to raise awareness about the cause and effects of sexualized violence and will be a fun way to get people talking about a very difficult subject. DETAILS: Thursday, May 26, 2016/5:00-6:30 p.m. Kick-Off Location: CBA, 321 S. Plymouth Ct., Chicago REGISTRATION: Registration is $25 person.

Proceeds will benefit our cosponsor Between Friends. Participants must wear high heels. Participants and supporters are encouraged to wear red. Purchasing (or borrowing) a pair of high heels is the responsibility of the participant. Bring your friends, bring your colleagues! SCHEDULE (subject to change) : 5:00 p.m. – Registration 5:30-5:40 p.m. – Between Friends, our cosponsor of the event is a nonprofit agency dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and building a community free of abuse. A representative from Between Friends, will address the crowd and get the walk underway. 5:45 p.m. – Put those heels on and get ready to walk 1 mile through the Loop. 6:30 p.m. - Join us for some fun and socializing after the Walk at downtown bar.
